Sony because the orchestra was epic

I thought the orchestra was a fail because I was really hopeful that they were there to play the Opera House theme and they were going to announce a ground up remake of FF6.

I could also have very unrealistic expectations there.

I didn't like Sony's host.........

Sean? Yeah he starting to grow on me. If you didn't like him at this E3 you will hate him at previous E3s.

I don't mind Sean overall, but he always does this wierd thing with his hands. Like he holds onto his right thumb nail with his left hand and it just looks odd and distracting to me. His delivery isn't that dynamic either, but he seems like a genuinely good guy so I'll give him a pass

Sony 9/10 - so many good games and an incredible GOD OF WAR!

MS 4/10 - without Scorpio it would be lower. "Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive" sounds so damn unpowerful.

Bethesda 7/10 - Dishonored 2 looks fantastic and Prey seems very exciting. Bethesda is a sweet company.

Ubisoft 1/10 - I don't like their game design, and every Ubisoft game feels the same.

EA 3/10 - thanks to Battelfield and Andromeda.

I don't think there is a clear cut winner this year unless Nintendo pull something big #hope, both shows struggled at times with pacing and had ups and downs

MS opened strong and lost my attention through the Minecraft the fails of the FFXV titan battle demo and Sea of Thieves was a tad boring even if the game looks somewhat interesting. I enjoyed the Gears of War and Scalebound sections and also FH 3 grabbed my attention and I don't usual care for racing games and I liked the end with the Project Scorpio.

For Sony I thought the long orchestral intro and what seemed to me was a very long and drawn out God of War trailer was a very slow start until Horizon and Detroit sections then the RE7 gameplay slowed it back down again and into the VR section as well dragged on since I don't care for VR at the moment, Crash trilogy was good but hardly lasted as it went into Skylander,COD and Lego Star wars which never interested me, Loved the Kojima game announcement then seeing Insomniac wasting there talent on a damn superhero licensed game hurt at the end :(

From a purely conference point of view I prefer Sony's method of showing game after game with minimal interruption. I also hate in conferences when the camera is on or in the crowd. I don't need some sweeping Goodfellas camera work in the middle of showing a game at a show.

Regardless of the interest in titles the focus should be games and for me Sony delivered what I wanted (even if multiple games I was interested in such as Gravity Rush 2 and other Japanese titles were not shown).

Maybe time to catch up with the overwhelming truth?

Truth is you should've respected others opinion.

It was a bit weird, they had a great trailer that was only a minute long that they posted online a few minutes after the show was done. I understand that it's a bit of a niche title, but did they not really have a minute to spare? Ah well, can't really complain with what they showed (I'm especially hyped for Spiderman).

lol are you expecting full remakes of crash? Its gonna be like the ports of the ps2 games for PS4.

I assume youre being sarcastic as they explicitly said crash 1-3 remade from the ground up.

They are gonna make full remakes of 3 games and sell them to you in a little neat package.

Right. We'll see who was beeing naive and who was beeing realistic soon enough.

Why should it be unrealistic that they remake all levels of the 3 games and put them in one package? The levels of Crash Bandicoot weren't very complex and most assets were the same between these 3 games. It wouldn't take 3x the effort/time/money to remake all 3 games instead of only 1.
