Forums - Gaming Discussion - Sony E3 won. Hands down.

Sony definitely had the best conference. GoW, Horizon, Detroit: Becoming Human, TLG & Spiderman did it for me, not feeling Days Gone though. Don't care for Neo or Scorpio, interested to try PSVR, but I'll wait for a price cut.

Sony saved E3.
First we had 2 completely unnecessary conferences with EA and Bethesda, yes even Bethesda.
Microsoft had a good conference but it literally felt like E3 2015.
Ubisofts was pretty decent.
Sony was new, new, new.

No gamer can disagree with this

Well I game on all the consoles and only two of the games showcased appeal to me and appear to be sure purchases. So I guess you're wrong.

Actually three, I forgot about Last Guardian :)

I'm holding out for Zelda, but Sony do know how to put on a show and easily the best conference so far (haven't seen Ubi's).

God of War, Call of Duty and Resident Evil, series that I thought I was done with have me interested, plus Days Gone and Horizon look great, interested in Spider-man and Detroit but I don't know ultimately if I'd go for them.

Don't ruin the moment

Currently Playing: Rocket League (PC/PS4), Dead Cells (PC)

LordyPlays on YouTube

As someone with no interest in VR (Microsoft or Sony based) I would actually favour MS as the winner this year, though it does look like their is finally enough good PS games that interest me to justify a PS4 purchase as well.

This was the best E3 conference ever, it was insane I could not believe the amount of crap they were showing one after the other. No one was even saying anything it was just reveal after reveal after reveal.

Looks like someone forgot about the lack of a certain Remake that was annunced last year... Imho Sony E3 2015> Sony E3 2016

I haven't seen of heard anything about that remake since.

I dind't, you can argue that E3 X or Y had better games anounced or more iconic ones but this was the first conference ive seen where the company understood what the gamers want. Nobody gave us numbers, nobody talked about about TV, there was no propaganda, they didn't even talk about hardware. They just went from game to game to game to game. And they actualy manage to not let much leak befre the conf wich is awesome.

They won, but not by much. The press conference was too short, shorter than Microsoft's.

MS could have cut out 2/3 of their show and it would have been better. Length isn't everything.

Mine craft? Cut

Controllers? Cut

Card game? Cut

Sea of thieves? Cut

Instantly better ms conference

Scorpio was completely useless being it's a year and some months away.

It was probably the least interesting E3 conference I've seen from anyone in recent history. Bethesda's, Ubisoft's and even EAs were masterpieces compared to this one, and they were lame. Not one single game I want to play after seeing it. Almost nothing new announced, just mostly updates on stuff we already knew. I'm honestly baffled at how people are just jumping and cheering for it. It honestly is hard to believe that opinions on something can be so polar opposite. I've been waiting years for them to give me a reason to get a PS4 since it launched, but it just hasn't happened yet. Maybe next year, possibly.

To be honest, I think it's safe to say at this point that if Sony hasn't captured your interest after this E3, or even during the 3 years since launch then your interests lie elsewhere and there's nothing they could do to make you happy.
