Am I really the only one who wants stage presentations back?
Sure, sometimes they were lame, but they were so exciting and fun to watch. I've been watching live from 2009 and despite some flaws they were enjoyable to watch. Certainly more enjoyable than the directs. The directs simply cannot replicate the magic.

Treehouse is the only reason I still watch anything E3. If it was not for them, I would just watch a few trailer on Gonintendo and that's it.

You are absolutely correct! People practically revolted in the streets after last years E3 Digital event. This will be far more subdued but far more meaty.

But I really wish they would have brought back the Nintendo World Championships. It was awesome and I think that it really would have brought the gamers together.

yeah, better than terrible doesnt mean great, but zelda alone is way better than their whole e3 2015.

If it was anything other than zelda, i'd say it's not a great idea to put all your chickens in one basket.

That being said, I've always felt that E3 should have some surprises, something to hype us up outside of the regularly schedule stuff (and hopefully not OVER hype us like Watch Dogs). When you tell people this is all we're gonna have, the new info is great but the magic is kinda gone.

They never said it was all they would have. The only thing they've said is that Zelda would be the only game playable on the show floor. Other than that, they've just said Zelda is the primary focus (which makes sense, if it's the only playable game).

We can be pretty confident that Nintendo have some reveals to make. Even if there's nothing new for Wii U, they're still supporting the 3DS pretty well, and we can be sure they'll have something new to reveal for that. And we know of the existence of at least one unannounced third-party Wii U title - from Nordic Games. There may be more.

Note that Nintendo hasn't said a word about the third day of E3, yet. There's a good chance that they're keeping quiet on it because they want to (aside from Zelda) focus on stuff that hasn't yet been announced.

Just Nintendo Treehouse is not that bad.
Only two big games per year is not that bad.
Shift all the games from one console to another is not that bad.
Fucked up every possible thing is not that bad.

I can't believe people here still defend Nintendo.
