No, so few 13 24.07%

Other 5 9.26%

The first one to talk openly was GameXplain but other sources as Emily Rogers have confirmed to heard the same rumor.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aa-QIFpw7E

Starts around 18:00 minute.

Summary:

- 4 large dungeons

- 100 mini-dungeons scattered around the over world

- Dynamic weather

- Tech vs Nature

I'll try to update if further info comes.

NOTE: Confirmation is about hearing the rumor not about the content, and none has mentioned if it comes from the same source.

All those dungeons won't mean anything if the series' focus doesn't shift back to combat.

Like what we were disscussing days ago. I'll be happy if in some mini-dungeon I get the bomb's bag after very very hard battles, and even before have to explore the world to obtain a couple of bottles to carry necessary potions because the enemies in the mini-dungeon are very hard. Basically, Zelda 1 and 2.

I'd be hoping for more stuff in the mini-dungeons, at least two prizes plus a couple of chests with rupees. Aside from heart pieces and bottles, I'd like to see something like ore. You know, like in A Link Between Worlds where you can spend two pieces of ore to get a better sword, but on a much grander scale. Pick anything between sword, shield, arrows etc. and pay a bunch of rupees. A few different kinds of ore (all in set places, no random garbage) and higher prices with each upgrade, so that you can't upgrade, for example, your sword to max level very early in the game. Better ore in caves with stronger enemies. Then again, technically you would be able to go into difficult caves and get good stuff early, although it would be difficult, so you would think twice about pushing through them or settling for easier tasks first.

I'd like also some kind of better SS upgrade system like the one you exposed. Rather than gathering small stuff from the bokoblins, to find special ore to upgrade your equipment. In fact, some enemies like Iron Knuckles will need an advanced equipment to be able to defeat.

And, having this system in the overworld will be even more interesting. In Zelda 1, (and 2) Death Mountain is full of hard enemies, and unless you are a pro, you'll need better stats to be able to pass through it.

If it's that many they're probably nothing interesting. Might be the Ubisoft school of open world games with thousands of useless trinkets to collect and even more chests with 5 Rubies in it.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

I actually really like the crafting system in Skyward Sword a lot. I would like to see it more extensive with armor and your sword as well. I also look forward to the idea of lots of mini dungeons. The few that were in Twilight Princess were cool and a great thing to find in the world. Having more of them with more variety would really help the overworld feel full and exciting to explore.

there are going to be 4 dungeons and a lot of mini dungeons, but, there are going to be "levels" and things to do for the main campaign outside of dungeons. This is going to be a very different zelda game, don't expect that "dungeons are the only way to progress" design.

If there are 4 main dungeons (and even if there's a normal amount) I would hope they're more open than a typical Zelda dungeon. Like multiple routes, multiple ways of solving puzzles, multiple ways to kill bosses (you'd be more free to get creative and it would increase replay value). And since the game won't be linear, there could be ways of doing things that are item specific (which would ideally be implemented subtly) which would give people the thought "Oh, I wouldn't have been to do that if I didn't get this item first".

Can't wait for The Zelder Scrolls 3: Breath of The Wild Hunt!

imagine 4 main dungeons, but each dungeons the size of twilight princess map :O

That dungeon rumour sounded pretty cool to me. Really hope it turns out to be true!

I think only having 4 dungeons would be great. They need to focus less on the dungeons and more on the overworld.
