A retailer based in Singapore named Qisahn has a listing up featuring a Playstation 4 exclusive “Crash” Skylanders Imaginators Starter Pack.

Saying the “Crash edition content to be announced later. this is a Playstation 4 exclusive”.

Now, Crash has been long speculated to come to Skylanders, but recently has picked up more steam. Especially after it came out that Activision still owns the rights to Crash Bandicoot.

Game Informer even put in their article (but then quickly deleted) that there was another Guest Start to come to Skylanders Imaginators (like how Donkey Kong and Bowser came to Superchargers).

NOW… how legitimate is this retailer?

Obviously it’s not as legitimate as your big box stores like Amazon, Best Buy, etc. But we’ve had some leaks from random retailers across the globe (how many times have you heard a South African retailer leaking something?). So it is possible. This company also has some store fronts, so it’s not just an online company. There are even some interviews on Yahoo and other places with the owner of the store.

So the store itself is definitely legitimate, whether it’d have access to this kind of information, that remains to be seen.

I always knew the Crash skylander was not a matter of if, but when.

First, Spyro was relegated to a supporting character in a pay-to-win toys-to-life empire. Then Donkey Kong and Bowser were wedged in. And now Crash? It just never ends.

This whole Crash Bandicoot thing might become the biggest troll in video game history. If Sony announces on stage that Crash is back as an exclusive PS4 character in Skylanders then that would be quite the "fuck you" IMO. Unless it's exclusive because Sony now owns the IP.

If this rumour is true, then fuck Sony as well. It's so unbelieveably stupid, the way they've been teasing Crash. It wouldn't even be so bad if they were just teasing it, but in reality nothing happened, but this? It makes no sense. The people that care about Crash don't care about Skylanders. Why on earth would they do this? This is way, way, way worse than Nuts'n Bolts, the Conker DLC for Project Spark and Federation Force combined. Dammit. Why can't they do the frikkin obvious. Ratchet & Clank just released to record sales for the franchise. That should be proof that there is a market for these games. But nooooooo.

This genuinely pisses me off. This doesn't happen often from video games news.
