Forums - Politics Discussion - Clinton has clinched nomination-Also, Clinton or Trump?

Alright, I don't like making more than two threads a day, but it's finally come.

Hillary Clinton is the first woman to be nominated by a major party. Unlike in 2008, she hasn't fallen to anyone. She will go up against Donald Trump, who will represent the Republicans.

Now that we are 100% sure of who will represent each side, which person do you think will provide the best stability to the US? I know that the 2008 crisis(which I barely know about) ruined us horrible, and these next few years can either boost our economic growth or make it stagnate. Also, forgeign issues are at large, which immigrants, refugees, and ISIS being main highlights.

Can't be the only one excited for ERB to do Hillary VS Trump

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

Hillary easy. I'm not excited about it. But at least she's a normal human being. Donald Trump is actually a bad person.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Fun fact: According to the boys at fivethirtyeight, just recently Clinton had the second highest "dislike" ratings of anyone leading their party's field this late in the process over the past 30 years. The only person polling higher "dislike" ratings was, of course, Trump himself.

Clinton has only gotten less popular since then (I believe this article was from two or so months ago). It's rather incredible just how unpopular the two candidates are; I'll probably just throw a third party a bone to avoid having my name permanently listed aside either Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton.

If that's your standard then I fear you don't have a horse in this race haha

I must say, though, that I believe you're the first person to ever refer to Hilary as a "normal human being". :p

But, but, but...Trump promised to make 'murica great again!

Lol you've slightly biased it by asking who will provide the most stability.
Of course Clinton would provide the most "stability". Stability isn't inherently what presidents are supposed to do though.
Trump is probably just too much of a liability though. He needs to get immediately more sensible if he's gonna have a chance.

Everything has some sort of bias. :^)

Also, I think I'm being too optimistic. My question should be, "which one will do the least damage to America?"

Again neither.

Both of them BARF!

Will vote for Trump for the hell of it.

Both will send us to hell, but at least Trump will probably be assassinated. Clinton has a smaller chance I feel.

lol She won't be assassinated, but she'll probably be the second Clinton to face impeachment the moment she arrives in the White House.

Fun times ahead!

Personally, I think we need the option "Leave Office Vacant" on the ballots this time around. We'll regroup in four years.

None of the above/sitting this one out...
