There are some very good choices in here.
- I'm not sure if Andrew Garfield would work but I can see why someone mentioned that.
- Gerard Butler is a great choice. Just a little too old for the role to grow with it... sadly. He's a favorite of mine.
- Bradley Cooper is definitely a favorite of mine and fantastic actor. He has serious talent but I don't think he'd fit the role. He's fairly requested by a lot of fans, but I don't see him pulling it off. Which is a depressing thought for me.
Dan Stevens? Really :P Well he's going to be Legion and I hope he pulls that off. The show has potential.
I'm still in favor of Dalton. For me acting talent is more important than just likeability and fame. Not to mention he does look a little bit like him, not 100% but a little bit, and he has the attitude nailed down.
As for the Last of Us Movie. At this rate, it's in development hell. It might be a while until it comes back.
I've been debating as to if Sharlto Copley would make good Joel? Of course Hugh Jackman would be a great choice as well. Even Gerard Butler. For those who don't know who Sharlto is. Here's a picture, his face is a bit narrow but I think he could pull it off.
As for Ellie. People can give up on Ellen Page anytime. She won't do it and she practically hates her. Give Raffey Cassidy 2 years and she'll nail the role. She's a very good actress for her age, actually she's amazing. Rather the movies she's in are good or not. She delivers on her part alone. She's as Ellie as we'll realistically get.
