I question the quality of Watch Dogs 2. Two and a half years doesn't seem like a long time to make a huge open world game.

I am going with Titanfall. Watch Dogs, which I found to be a good game but not great, left a bad taste in a lot of mouths. A single player campaign in Titanfall2 along with the fact that it is a FPS makes me lean that way regardless of their launch window.

I don't get why people say Titanfall "because is a FPS"

I mean is completely possible Titanfall wins, but the reason "is a FPS" make no sense... GTA crush every FPS, if we combine the sales of the bigger COD with the bigger Battlefield they still can't close with GTA V sales.

Watch Dogs isn't GTA, but just saying that it's the same genre, which looks even bigger than a usual shooter...

GTA is THE exception to basically any rule.  Generally speaking, FPS games in western markets sell better than non FPS games.  They also tend to sell better than sequels to games with what at the time was a rather lukewarm reception.

EA royally fucked up by not releasing titanfall 1 on ps4. That game had insane hype. It would have sold more on ps4 than it did on xbox. They lost insane sales.

And now that the series is out it looks damaged. They can no longer tap into the ps4 gold mine.

Watch dogs 2 will be interesting. Will it suffer a similar fate to WD1 which also had insane hype but was also receiving a lot of hate before launch for down grading.

I think its pretty clear Watch Dogs 2 takes the crown now.
TitanFall 2 fell on its face. The release date screwed them over.

In the UK the sales are about 1/4th of what the first game was (less than 52k first week), according to neogaf.

Also all that PR bullsh*t about it not mattering that its releaseing between BF1 & CoD, because Titanfall is a differnt type of shooter........ yeah that didnt work out.

A shooter is a shooter is a shooter.

Stuck between a rock(BF1) and a hard place(CoD)..... everyone saw this comeing.
