What are you talking about it's breaking tons of records

#1 movie based on world of warcraft

#1 movie set in aezorath(spelling?)

#1 movie based on an mmo

#1 movie based on an rts series

#1 movie based on warcraft

its got potentiaaly billions of records set, just take a little creativity

"

" It did its best business in Germany, scoring the biggest opening day of the year in the country with $2.2 million."

"Warcraft also found success in France ($2.2 million in three days) and Sweden, where it posted the third-highest opening day ever for Universal in the territory with $539,000.""

You do know that the bolded aren't records being broken right?  They are arbitrary stats shot out to try to entice the crowds to go see it.

These would be records:

best opening -insert timeframe here- in the history of -insert place here-

fastest -insert stat here- ever

made the most money of any -insert category here- ever

#1 warcaft movie opening in May  in 2016 in Germany!

#1 warcraft movie opening on May 26th in 2016 in Germany!

really that is like the most amazing opening ever the 151st best opening in Germany!

check Germany's biggest openings to put it in perspective

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/intl/germany/opening/

and France, oh boy 337th best in France

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/intl/france/opening/

and Sweden WEEEEE DOGGIE actually Sweden might be relatively good as I can't find any data on it's opening

So I dunno wich one is right.

Going to see it on Monday since I'm not a fan of watching it in 3D. I'll probably edit this to put in my 2 cents later on in the evening of that day.

This site is movie mojo, www.boxofficemojo.com is the site that moviemojo.com redirects to.  Regardless warcraft isn't off to a record breaking start

As far as doing well, that's up to the financiers, It seems to be outperforming Angry Birds so unless it drops like a stone 3 or 4 hundred million seems totally plausible, is that a success?   Though much like angry birds if they had managed to get it out at the height of WOWs popularity it probably would have done better...

By that logic R&C was the greatest animated movie of all time to feature a Lombax.  :p

Yeah but thats fw, word of mouth hasn't been good for it

I think the opposite, its at 8/10 on IMDB wich is only word of mouth

It having 8/10 on IMDB at this moment means nothing... that score will probably go below 7/10 sooner or later. Every movie opens up with a much higher rating compared to what it actually ends up with.

I dunno but Universal said something like with 4-5 Hundred million they consider it a sucess so we have to go with that. looks like it will do just fine
