I think they should. I've played quite a few of the most recent and could barely finish them. Legend Of Korra is as much of a disgrace as the Avatar movie IMO. Transformers felt repetitive in the worst possible way, and had boring level design and cookie cutter enemies (basically the same problem as LOK).

Then Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.... Dear God! The same thing AGAIN!   Add in no local co op.... For a Turtles game. I went to my brothers house for the weekend specifically when this came out to throw down on some old school local coop turtles play, and it wasn't there..... Seriously? And online it has major connection issues.... Sigh.... I could understand no local coop if the level design was clever enough to warrant its exclusion, but it really isn't.

Stop Platinum, please just stick to the stuff you're good at (Scalebound, Bayo, big budget games) because you're terrible with these small arcade style games.

Yes. Without a doubt.

They should focus on what made them great: their own games

Not if its making them bank.
With the way there games sell they have to take what they can get sometimes and I dont see that changing anytime soon considering there upcoming line up.

I can only comment on Transformers. But that game was fine. All I wanted was G1, with original voices. That's what I got. Minus Megatron being his stupid tank. Bayonetta games have repetitive minions too. Why aren't you complaining about that series? And you have to also remember. There's was not much variety with the G1 designs. Most were clones. You can only do so much. Without violating what the characters did on the show.

There was far more variety in enemies in Bayo, the levels designs were far better, and the fighting mechanics are absolutely leaps and bounds better. If their licensed games were half as good as Bayo I'd have nothing to complain about and would write the rest off as them just being smaller arcade titles, but they aren't.

Scalebound didnt really look that good last E3 when we saw it.

Bayonetta formula is what they need to find again, and stick too.

They need to make money to get by so they may as well, Transformers however I'll say mechanically it's one of their most technical games as it allows tricks and gameplay that other PG titles can't do, it's repetitive in other aspects but the mechanics are a lot of fun to mix up.

I think they should stop making more than 1 game every 2 years.

Platinum games doesn't stand for quality anymore, they can make good games but there was a time I would be sure their games would be good, now its waiting for reviews before a purchase, they deff need to spent more time on less games.

Probably yes.... but I do believe they´re being paid to produce those games, and they must meet a deadline, so they just can´t work properly on them....

No doubt their very best comes from original games
