Honestly, this is the first time I became skeptic with the wife victim.

I feel like Amber Heard had a lot of holes in her story and she's now using social media as a platform to bring Johnny Depp on a trial by public.

LAPD checking her, no evidence to conclude there was an abuse while her friend of 13 years who happened to be the witness said there was swelling and reddening on her face.

Then her lawyers saying she wasn't intending to file DV charges until Johnny Depp's PR Team slandered her when infact divorcing him just two days after Johnny Depp's mom died is IMO enough for the media without Depp's PR team's intervention to haunt and dig on her life story to get the truth behind why she divorced him not to mention the gap in their ages would seriously imply gold-digging.

And the fact she didn't file charges so she maintained their privacy so as not to impact Depp's career while asking for spousal support when she had no kids with him and that she is healthy and physically(i mean in terms of beauty she is a keeper) able to work without Depp's help and when Depp and his lawyers rejected it,  the DV charges were filed coincidentally?

I mean, by using a bit of that logic, I am just not convinced. And I usually lean on being a feminist. SO SORRY. I think this is a Gone Girl situation.

She will need to prove her case. Its easy to make those claims but without any evidence or prior history of assault it has no merit. The thing is, if she is going for the defamation type of situation where you do not need evidence you just say someone did something and let the mob sort it out, then that is a two edge sword. The mob if fickle and it could definitely backfire. Either way, she may end up getting nothing and have her own career tarnish if her claim is not true.

I am on Amber's side. For two reasons. First of all, look at her. Second of all, I'm really sick of Depp showing up in all these burtonish films playing slight variations of the same character. Fuck him.

Depp had been with Vanessa Paradis from 1998 till 2008 and there was never any mention of him touching a hair on her head. The guy always came a cross as agent, visited hospitals in character etc.
Suddenly he becomes a woman beater when he is with this younger girl? No witnesses?
Also he is right handed and the bruise is on her right...youd expect it on other side.

People don't suddenly become violent after years and years of relationships and marriages..... she is going to ruin her name. It is pretty obvious what is going on here and judges are not fools.

Depp doesn't seem right to me. I mean, sure he has all these amazing testimonials but its those types of people who will rage easily and do things they're not supposed to do on a whim. I'm on team Amber. Even if the judge goes in Depp's favor. OJ got off didn't he? What's stopping Depp? And he's not even being charged for manslaughter. I love the guy as an actor but you never know man.

I'm torn.
It's pretty clear Johnny is an alcoholic and probably on other drugs as well, I mean, look at him.
What I'm not sure about is if this is a thing that has been going uninterrupted for the last 30 years or if he's had some kind of lapse or relapse to bring him to this point. What I do know is that drugs can change a person. So even if he didn't abuse any of his other women, that doesn't mean that alcohol and drugs didn't make him spiral out of control.

The reason I believe she has a case (beyond her submitted evidence) is that I was wondering if he knocked her around before the news even broke. I saw some pictures of the two (I believe it was one of the black mass premieres they went to) and noticed that her eye had a popped blood vessel and looked puffy and semi swollen all around. Like a bruise that had started to heal and was hidden with make-up. Wether that was actually the case or just a bad photo of her I don't know but it started me wondering. And then her abuse allegations came out.

I'd really hate to believe Johnny Depp to be a domestic abuser, because he seems like a cool dude overall but I can't dismiss her either.

 She comes out with this right after he said he would not pay her alimony, you gotta admit that's at least a little bit suspicious. 
Not calling her a liar by any means, but its her word against his and she's gonna have to prove her case. 

Well, that's a dangerous way to accuse someone.
