Cut a long story short, my physical copy of Twilight Princess HD got damaged beyond repair (kids), I had got to the Goron mines. I'm thinking about digitally downloading it off the Eshop. My save data is still on the hard drive, if I download the game will I still be able to resume my previous save? Thanks

i would advice you to check the region before purchasing, that may effect it.

Worse case is you have to start the game over, but at least you will be able to play it.

You can buy locking cases for DVD/Blueray discs so the little monsters can't get to them. And they are cheaper than buying a new game. Or buy a small lockbox to put the discs in.

I know the digital version of Burnout Paradise was technically a different game than the physical version. So even though I'd found all the hidden elements in the physical version - when they gave everyone a digital version for free, because of the PSN hack, I had to find everything again.

Your saves should be on the Wii U's flash drive or HDD if you own one. You can check unter Settings- > Data Management of your WII U.

I've always wondered this myself, but I know for sure that it doesn't work on the 3DS since the game saves in the cartridge directly
