I think the thread title is enough information. VGChartz is great, but I've always wondered if there'll be an app for a truly mobile version.

Nope. Would be a lot easier to completely change the forum platform to something more mobile friendly.

That would be neat but then the question would be... Would the ads be even more intrusive or less? Cause I have seen some apps do some funky things with ads... Even go far as to have your notification have ads

There's no app planned but I'm currently working on a responsive version of the website. This means there will be a truly mobile version of VGC.

Maybe. The new version will largely use the same HTML for the inside pages so any work on styling how the pages will look like on smaller resolution will be usable down the line.
