The games great. But I wish Epona's controls were fixed. The 3 riding missions are still the worst part of the game, for me.

Yup. The other day I was watching some random YouTube videos and I saw a comment that was like "The PS4 and the XONE will get emulators way before the Wii U gets one, because they use the same architecture as PC's now".

Oh, the irony lol.

Edit: That 3DS emulator is progressing really fast too. Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask look great in 1080p.

Agreed. Hell if anything I don't remember Epona's controls being as terrible in the original version. I struggle to do pretty much anything with her in the HD remaster besides hitting walls.

For whatever reason they messed with Epona controls, which, yes, was not something they needed to mess with.

I personally find it easier to steer Epona by steering the camera with the right stick.

You can imagine how tedious it was to get some of these screenshots while playing on the GamePad

It looks like a proper, high-res port to me TP was actually pretty underrated by the fanbase IMO.

I've been streaming the game on my twitch. You don't know how much I rage with Epona. I've gotten so mad. It made me forget to save 1 hour of progress. So I had to redo the last tears section. Also, screw that horse carage. It doesn't even have the courtesy to carry bomb and arrow refills. I've played the GC version. Granted, only once 10 years ago. But I don't remember Epona being this horrible to drive.

Some of the textures in TP HD are really nice. Textures don't help as much when you are outdoors and the poor polygon counts become really noticeable when looking at landscapes (especially when looking at hillsides, etc..) That said, when the re-mastered textures in this game line up perfectly the occasional scene can actually be breathtaking. For example, I found this indoor area to be really impressive especially when you focus on details on the walls:

This clip definitely couldn't have been done on the Gamecube or even the Wii.
