If you never played them before, Metroid Prime Trilogy and Xenoblade 1 is $20 on eshop. You ned wiimotes for trilogy but for those three games, it's worth it.

Mario Kart 8, DCKTF, Smash Bros, New Super Mario Bros U + Luigi U, Xenoblade chronicles X, maybe Splatoon, Bayonetta 2, Super Mario 3d World etc. All the heavy hitters.

I'm a Sony boy but will be nice to delve into Nintendo's brand of gaming after more than ten years away from them(Gamecube era).

Also you have Pikmin 3, Lego City Undercover (on Nintendo Select it $20), Fatal Frame V, Toads Treasure Tracker, Star Fox Zero...
