Forums - Gaming Discussion - What should be the next Warriors (Musou) game?

After playing three in a row (I played and Platinumed Uncharted 4 in between one them). I think One Piece is slowly becoming my favorite of the three; Samurai Warriors 4-2, One Piece  and Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires.

I thought to myself, Shonens really work the best with this. Honestly Naruto, Bleech, Yu Yu Hakusho, Full Metal Alchemist etc. would be amazing, everything but Dragon Ball Z.

So what franchise would you love to be made into (Musuo) Warriors game?

I personally would love Fairy Tail one, with the variety of characters and magic that exists in that franchise.

I'd prefer another historical one. I just enjoy them more than the licensed ones.

One set in Korea could be good. Would be nice to see a story about Korean history in a game and it would go well with the Chinese/Japanese settings they've already got. Plus it would have great crossover if they ever do another Orochi game.

Historically I would love them to do Mughol Empire in India, and basically the point of history before the British showed up. Honestly fictional weapons with real world leaders would be interesting as well, for World War.

I just want DW9.  Hearing the producer talk about what he wants to do with the game has me hyped for it.

I want Fire emblem warriors and DW9. I like dynasty warriors gundam, but they always seem to be missing something.

Warriors orochi sounds great in paper but it always bores me super fast. I think the key to holding your interest in these games is to have a gripping storyline you care about. This is to say, either a factual historical setting you find fascinating or a series/game series you are a fan of. The games lose their purpose without those.

With Fire Emblem, which ficitional region would it be set in, or do you have them all like Gundam Series?

Pokémon.

Final Fantasy Musou. So many characters and enemies to work with.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

That would be a good one, the problem being it would be stuck in development hell, because Square Enix cannot decide if they want to introduce Noctis into the game or not.

Like some already said!
- Fairy Tail
- Pokemon
- Super Smash! <----- Especially this one, but not sure if they would need certain rights on certain characters.......

Pocky Lover Boy!

Suikoden Musou, "not enough" characters to play with :-p.
