So in other words, the target demographics arent tired of them.

Not exactly, the target demographics are mostly mindless and buy Mario Party games the same way sheeple go to see Transformer movies. It's less of a "let's make a good game" and more of a cash grab on Nintendo's part. Just like Mario and Sonic at the Olympics.

um no, Mario Party (and most party games in general) is aimed primarily at children and families which is who you just said the game sold to.

Its less of a "lets make a quick cash grab" and more of a light hearted, simple game for children and their parents to play together.

A quick cash grab would be something like Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, not Mario Party

A few days ago I have posted that one of my sources told me that a new Xbox console will launch in 2017. Shortly after that several big news sites reported the same. This is the reason why I give this source so much credibility that I post the next thing the source told me. According to that source Mario Party 11 is in development for Wii U and will launch later this year. It will be the last First Party Wii U exclusive game.

As I said after the Xbox thing ended being true I also believe this.

Where are the other 10 or so games you were expecting for Wii U?

I'm probably the only person here that hopes this is true.

Mario Party 10 (and 9 thanks to backwards compatibility) has been the only thing keeping my Wii U alive and regardless of the game format my friends and I still enjoy the hell out of it (with or without alcohol involved).

Me too, Bowser party on MP10 is the best mode in the entire series.

I think its a good move by Nintendo, it would be quick to develop using the Mario Party 10 engine and will have 1 million sales nailed on. Even Mario Party 10 which has been very divisive has easily cleared over 1.5million.

And why are they not announced like Zelda?

You believe another Mario game will come out for the Wii U.... nha I don't believe you.. seems to far fetched.

well Mario Party isn't exactly that ground breaking anymore so it seems to fit a low budget pattern Nintendo has been following recent times with mario games.

Mario Party was never anything more than low budget. At the time of release I found the N64 Mario Parties so visually unappealing that I never got any of them. I always thought these games were cheap cash-ins for Nintendo. I mean, they churned them out every year for a long time.

They will be announced at the NX Event in October

Yes, just what I was waiting for... another Mario Party. I hope they are making Wii Party U2 also.

Humor us further by explaining why you think they'd make cross gen games.
