Forums - Gaming Discussion - Mighty No. 9 Dev disappointed at latest trailer

And don't worry Anime fans at proms, Sonic is there for you with Pizza!

In case you missed the trailer.

Btw saw this at Gamespot.

Nintendo Switch FC: SW-6340-7643-4233 aka Renji

Steam: Lee Roid

Terrible graphics , got no style in it.

The gameplay looks great to me. And the trailer was actually quite funny. I laughed even more at the "unforgivable" comment of the developer. It's a word I keep hearing (more like reading) in all anime.

I kinda wish they went all 8-bit instead.

Most games Deep Silver touches are bad.

4mill$ and it looks like shit

The trailer is terrible. Went full treating customers like idiots.

The huge numbers are ugly, they should be removed.

Aside from that, critics of the graphics are unwarranted. This is a kickstarter game.

Old Playstation trailer for the game is much much better.

With a 4mill$ budget made by the company of someone who´s in the videogame business for 29years. I´d say it´s warranted

Being Indie or Kickstarter based does not absolve them of responsibility to pursue a style they can achieve and do it well.  Shovel Knight, Freedom Planet, Fast Racing Neo, Ori and the Blind Forest, all independently developed, all look great and execute their style wonderfully.  Dust: An Elysian Tale is a solo developed game.  ONE GUY.  This indie project with millions behind it and headed by someone with decades of experience has no excuse.

And yeah, the trailer was absolutely abysmal.  Better if you muted it though.
