Tak13, yeah your most likely right... I guess it depends on how much the 3DS sales slow down.
They seem down alot this year compaired to last though.

It's amazing how easy the Ps4 will beat the Wii U + 3DS combined. Even hardware combined it will beat them easy enough. Probably by the end of 2017 for Hardware.

Exactly! FYQ16 results will tell us a lot in my opinion!  They sold in 8.7m in FY14 and 6.8 FY15! That's a 20% yoy drop... ( I just deduced it, i thought it was way bigger, taking into account the doom articles, lol....)

I was looking on the graphs for 2015 & 2016, first 4 months, and got it to about 27.5% doing some quick math (probably wrong).

Then again I forgot about Pokemon sun & moon, that should drive sales up :p

Your probably gonna be right, it wont be until later that the PS4 ends up overtakeing hardware 3DS+WiiU, it is looking like it ll happend at some point though.

It ll happend sometime in 2018 at the latest (I think), might still happend end of 2017.

Didnt both the 3ds and wii u have a few years head start. Amazing how well ps4 is doing

Pokemon sun and moon.... Definately, they have created more buzz than XY but I can't say if this will be transalted into  big system selling effect (since someone would say that a this point thanks to x/y most today pokemon gamers  must have bought a 3ds) ! Invest more in New 3ds/xl upgrading/possible price drop!

To be fair shouldn't this be Wii U and 360 vs PS4 and Vita?

Also helps that 3DS and Wii U are both flops.
