You just listed 1st party games, im talking about great 1st party games. eg: Syphon Filter 3? lol ok, Twisted Metal? right..

Ape Escape was a great game and Medievil wasnt, however i enjoyed my time with it, i enjoyed the creative art style behind it.  

I am not even going to try to compare those games to the N64 1st party lineup. Its not even a competition.

It IS great time to be a PC gamer, but not because of PC games. It's console games ported to PC, that run at higher resolution and frame rates, that make it great.

Honestly, I miss the good old days. I felt like in the early to mid 90s they were still making AAA PC games. Now they only develop major titles for consoles, it seems, which is fine. It just makes me less inclined to upgrade my PC. Obviously 4K is better but, thanks to the common practice of upscaling, 1080 is still perfectly acceptable.

I'm honestly enjoying the games on PC like XCOM 2, and for years I;ve njoyed TF2, Planetside 2, Starbound, How to Survive 1-2, Project Zomboid, Stardew Valley, Starcraft II, Diablo III, Heroes of the Storm and a load more that aren't direct console ports and aren't all about realistic visuals. I don't think it's made great only because of console ports (it's like saying PC is only great thanks to consoles which isn't really what the thread is about).

I'm not sure what kind of AAA games you are talking about because so far I'm still seeing those happening on PC, just not the same way you think they are.

That's the reply you would have given no matter what games had been on that list. Great is subjective, and for you, barely a thing from Sony is great.

Well thats your assumption, i own all PS consoles and i even have most of those games you listed and i can tell you right now, if you think those games are N64 qulity then i have not much to say but maybe its you that refuses to accept whats really good and what isnt.

I respect CGI and i dont want to lead this thread into an off topic decussion.

Never assume what one other thinks. I voice my opinions, i dont say things just for the sake of it, like many on here seem to do.

I don't need anyone to tell me if something is good or not (especially someone like you), and unlike many here, I don't base my opinion on the reputation of a franchise or developer.

PC is becoming more and more interesting, I've started looking into building my first PC since -07, even though I'm a complete noob when it comes knowledge around graphics cards, motherboards and so on :).
