This is like 2013 all over again isnt it?

PS4 neo = rumored 4.2 Tflops.
Xbox one ii = rumored 5.28 Tflops (4x xb1 (1.32) = 5.28)

Xbox to be slightly more powerfull, but maybe a year late to the party.
Also means this generation is gonna be really long.
Wont be a real Xbox Two or Playstation 5, until like 2020-21.

Neo, Scorpeo, NX. This whole console generation is a damn farce



I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime. 

The NX will be a 900p machine

As of late, Nintendo has been stretched thin between 3DS, WiiU, and NX and they just need to focus on one single platform with the NX going forward.

If they do this, which I believe they will, droughts should become a thing of the past.

 

As for me, most third party stuff hasn't interested me at all so I can take it or leave it.

Same here. As a nintendo fan (I presume) wouldn't you like for NX to be 4 times as powerful as WiiU and retrocompatible?

Because the slim will be cheaper.

They will run the same games (just at differnt graphics settings).

Depends on how much eye candy you want, and are willing to pay for.

Buying it once rather than twice is the cheaper option. Who knows how long the slim will feel adequate next to an XBox 2 that can suposedly power OR. XBox One is already known to be on the bottom with multiplatform games. Can it even guarantee a stable 25 fps next to NEO, NX, XBox 2? What a mess this gen is turning in to.

I'm afraid to see what NX actually is. It seems the best option for this holiday as psvr + neo = ?, xbox one slim + scorpeo = ?, but only since NX can still be what I want it to be in my mind lol.

A graphical upgrade is nice but for me, gameplay always comes first. There are some terrible games out there with great graphics and great games with terrible graphics. I prefer the latter.

Terrible that both Sony & MS are both pursuing an upgradeable model for consoles.

They haven't stated if they're modular, hell, they haven't even chimed in on the rumors. 

These boxes will still be closed and game development shouldn't be an issue because it should be the same to develop as their predecessor.
