Forums - PC Discussion - Should I get Street Fighter V?

I'm wondering rather or not to get this game on PC.  Here's some important things to take into consideration:

I have the digital Download, and disc (unopened) versions for PS4, so, I've spent 120 on the game, and no DLC.

I'm not actively playing this game on PS4 anymore.

The reasoning behind the PC version:

Mods.  Because capcom still can't get their character models correct.

Having it right there available on my PC could mean I'd play it more.

I guess maybe it would look slightly better?  I say slightly, because I have an R9 390X, and I've never experienced a lag spike with Killer instinct (except sometimes online), even with everything maxed out.

Finally, I just want some more current gen PC games, to be honest.

Gameplaywise it's the best SF has ever been, my only problem is how we now have to pay for all the characters that just came with the game by default in past SF games. It's quite annoying.
But like I said, it is a good game and if you can get a cheap the. It's definitely worth picking up.

Wait, why did you buy two versions of the game on PS4?

My suggestion to all Street Fighter fans is to wait for the inevitable Ultra or Super edition, with more characters, modes, skins, etc.

If you want it, get it when it's complete. By then I'm sure it will get some sort of discount.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

You could sell your unopened copy and the PC version can be purchased online for around $30.

sure, why not. all the cool kids triple dip.

You played it on PS4 so you know what you're getting into. Personally, I don't think I'll ever play SFV again but if some skins means the game is better to you, so be it.

Personally, is rather play SFIV again ( which is why I bought SFIV.... again!)

Well, guys, I hate to say it, but, I've bought Tekken 5, four times, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, four times, and Street Fighter IV, four times.  So, getting SFV, three times isn't all that crazy, right?

I'll say this, though.

Street Fighter II:  Stiff. Not much of a fan.

Street Fighter III:  Great.  It's my favorite.

SFIV:  Just okay.

SFV:  Is just ok.  I like what's there, but, let's face it, the game is not complete.  It doesn't feel complete.  Also, wish the game was a bit more free with it's combo links/cancels.  Not on the level of Marvel Vs. Capcom, or killer instinct, but it's just, Jump and poke into special.  Had more fun with Mortal Kombat X, but my friend has it for some stupid reason, and hasn't bothered getting the game back to me, despite already owning a copy himself.

Aren't friends great? I loaned a friend of mine about five Xbox 360 games and he sold them when he sold his 360. Who does that!?!

Tell me about it.... Like I said.  He already owns the MKX disc, and now he has mine too.  I haven't played MKX at all since he's gotten it...  I'd get XL, on PC, but... we know how that turned out...  And, my brother has my copy of batman arkham knight... for almost a whole year... I forgot I owned that game.  Maybe I should get the PC version of SFV...  Just because I'm in a bad mood, and it might make me feel better...

No, no, that's stupid.  I should wait for a price drop, like everyone's saying.
