to add to the fruitless debate. the games that make money on mobile are not the same games that make money on consoles and pc, while the games that make more money on consoles are the same games on pc.  :p

So we're shifting the posts in favour of the consoles vs mobile and PC?.

Not shifting anything, there was no point in that post, just to show you a post with no point, cuz you said basicly that thats all we see in this thread.

No point in my post?, despite the fact the other user was going on about where *all* (note all as in everything, not some) the money was, to which I replied to for mobile gaming making a ton more money than both PC and consoles, to which you replied to me and combined my seperate fruitless line with my post and steered the overall profits from one platform to specific games profit and then tried to combine two platforms to make one stand out against the other two.

If you are trying to call me post utterly useless and pointless then just go ahead and say it, but we do know where that kind of talk lands don't we?.

For the people that have read all comments in this thread who is winning?

How you read that from what I said? It was ovbious that I said "my post" had no point. Yours and his also had no point in this thread, but still said only mine my pointles. Even put a smily face at the end to avoid sensitive responses so you know it wasent an attack. calm down. we are just giving opinions here.

But that even stronger PC would leave PS4 even further behind. High end PCs exist, they don't get to be discounted because they cost more or because there's always a stronger rig.

Fact of the matter is that a substantial segment of the "PC Master Race" is used to gaming on specs above and beyond Uncharted 4's, so it's completely understandable if they are not as wowed by it as console gamers.

When it comes to sheer graphical power, PS4 vs PC simply isn't a fight PS4 can or ever will win.

Yet we don't debate what the hardware "could" do. Also it is a telltale sign that you ommited what else i said when you quoted me.

It's not just that PC "could" do better graphics than PS4, it technically does do better graphics than PS4.

Running Star Citizen or Star Wars Battlefront with maxed settings at 1440p/60fps or 4K is more graphically demanding than Uncharted 4.

It's not all about the hardware. The software is important too ...

Some PC gamers don't quite get that. Looking purely at specs, resolution and framerates alone is a shortsighted way to measure "graphics" and that especially applies to the mentioned latter aspect ...

Any current PC game can't ever hope to match a ray traced one even if it's from a console because it's rendering technology far surpasses any of the given current PC games!

I mean no ill intent but it's rather ignorant to claim that consoles can't ever win in terms of graphical prowess ...

I'll say it once to everyone else in this thread and only once, "SOFTWARE IS IMPORTANT TOO WHEN IT COMES TO GRAPHICS"!

Of course software matters. But ultimately software is bound by the hardware it is running on. You can have beautiful games on PS4. You can have beautiful games on Wii U. Developers with great technical and artistic talent can work wonders with limited silicon. Games like Uncharted 4 and Mario Kart 8 are a testiment to this; working within your limits to create beauty with the tools available to you. Hell, Kirby's Epic Yarn is still one of the best looking games I've ever seen, and that's on the freaking Wii.

On the flipside though, with stronger hardware you can achieve technically superior results. There isn't anything on PS4 that could not be done on a high end PC, but you can do plenty on a high end PC that PS4 could not do.

A 2 year old $1400 PC isn't what I would call high-end, so no.

The rest is all personal opinion, you still haven't provided any technical reasonings.

But your technical reasoning is my pc is way more powerfull so this game is better. Dosent make much sens either. Then someone with lower end rig than yours, the same game is crap?

Then what happens if naughty dog decides to put uncharted 4 on pc, will it sudenly become the best game technically cuz it can be played on your rig? Or someone shows you world of warcraft on a pc 10x better than yours and makes star citizen look like garbage in comparison, does it make that 15 year old game better?

Im not saying that you need to downscale setting to match what the ps4 can do. Just saying that because your pc can make a crappy game look better, does not mean the base game is any good. Im ovbiously only talking about the technical aspects.

I think what makes a game technically impresive is what the devs base progaming can do. upscale it how much you want, but the base game has to look good or at high settins it will still look unimpresive. this is why uncharted is at least for me a biger technological leap than any other game.

I have already made a counter argument to this, so I would rather not repeat myself.

PC master race seem confused as to what I meant by graphics, by which I meant overall visuals, while the console gamers seem unaware of how effing crazy graphics can look on high end machines while PC gamers are oblivious to the fact that no developer out there has taken full advatage of that in a retail game while console gamers refuse to believe in the potential of greater tech and the PC gamers still can't find these "graphics" and seem to only see numbers and statistics in place of them while console gamers flat out disregard anything above 1080p/60 and then a few people pop up now and again to correct the extremes of both sides of the argument and a portion of them are objective and true to both sides. Basic VGchartz thread all in all.

The "PC Gaming Master Race" isn't confused, most of us have applauded the technical achievements of Uncharted 4.

As for "PC gamers are oblivious to the fact that no developer out there has taken full advatage of that in a retail game"

That is far from the truth, many developers try to be the next "Crysis" on PC by pushing visuals harder, many console gamers also recognize the superior tech available in a high-end PC, it's the same tech that they hope will be in the latest console rumor.

...and again you ignoring what I originally said

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
