the entire Yakuza series in the west especially considering how their open worlds and combat are much better then what most AAA publishers like Ubisoft put out.

Yakuza is a very alive series though and I'm not sure how heavy of a flop you can consider any of the titles

Bulletstorm
D4
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Crimson Dragon

Bulletstorm? it flopped because its far too generic and is like a combination of a kajillion FPS cliches with a failed attempt at a quirky style

Uh, Fatal Frame, Dark Cloud, Brutal Legend, Radiata Stories, Lufia, Breath of Fire, Enslaved, 3D Dot Heroes, Prey...

Too right. It's criminal how overlooked the series is. Even on the PS2, back in the golden age of horror gaming, it never got the appreciate it deserves.

I don't know how well Panzer Dragoon Orta or Gun Valkyrie sold, I'm guessing not much but I love them and they are the highlights of the original Xbox for me. Did Ikaruga sell well? Did Skies of Arcadia? I'm pretty sure I heard that Vagrant Story fell below Square's expectations and I thought it was really good. I also like Kula World and Tombi on but I don't know if they bombed or not.

I think I could keep going forever.

Ikargua performed poorly but it was hard not to expect it to since it was a ship shooter released on the Gamecube (awkward match if you ask me) and is simply an arcade port / port of the Japanese Dreamcast

I love the game but it being dropped on the Gamecube was a total afterthought

i said in the west there was a time where we almost didn't get 5 and i am willing to bet if 0 doesn't do well we won't get either Kiwami or 6

Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.

I was thinking about this when playing through QB. I only found out recently that Max Payne 2 sold poorly and I can't figure out why. The game was amazing and the gameplay still holds up incredibly well on PC and even on the xbox (or 360 via BC).

Gotta add Alan Wake to this. 1 Million is noway what this game deserved.

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

According to VGChartz its at less than a million, so I'm going to say Freedom Fighters. What a hidden gem of a game that was. It deserves a sequel.

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Damn we ARE the same person. I love that game. So underrated and underplayed.
