Rise of the Tomb Raider 158 22.19%

Uncharted 4 554 77.81%

If RoTR took the optional tomb segments, made them the core focus of the game, and then scaled back the shootouts by 50%, I would say yes. As it stands, they both feel like decent and yet very unfulfilling experiences; the popcorn chicken of the video game world. I'd have trouble rating one over the other.

Man, I know I'm going to be hated but a really think that RotTR is the better game, more depth on the gameplay and design, I was playing tomb raider on PC so will look better, obviously, so i'm not going to compare that area. On Rise of the tomb raider I have more motivation to find the collectables and to explore the levels. Uncharted has a better actors and the story telling is better but both are enjoyable in different ways. I think that RotTR is a better game for my taste and it's not getting the attention because was on xbox one first, a big mistake to be honest because on Playstation, gamers would have more respect for the game, reasons? 40 million playstations out there and the franchise was part of Playstation.

Don't get me wrong I'm not downplaying Uncharted 4, it's a "Uncharted 9.2/10 and Rise of the tomb raider 9.6/10" scenario. I'm just saying that a lot of people don't know how good that game really is, but hey, life is not fair.

If we're talking solely gameplay, like the actual interaction between you and the game, RotTR is hands down the superior.

I like Uncharted 4 but I also think its over rated. Playstation fans are going to lean Uncharted 4 because that's the game they have right now.

Asking this question on VGChartz is like asking the attendents of a Star Wars film's opening night if they prefer Star Wars or Star Trek.

It would be when there's 40million+ ps4 users and 21milliin XboxOne users. It'll be the exact same on any multi gaming  forum with those overwhelming numbers from ps4s user base.

The PS4 to Xbox One install base is a 2:1 ratio.

On VGChartz, the PS to Xbox fanbase is more like a 5:1 ratio.

Won't comment yet until I play it this christmas,

I'll be playing both eventually but for now I have no opinion. I can say that I did multiple plays through of each Uncharted game. But with TR 2013 I only did one play through and really felt no desire to go through it again. I did a bit of post game play around to get a few of the collectible, but once I'd gotten the ones I wanted that was that, and I uninstalled it from my PS3 to give me more HDD space.

Pretty much this, but perhaps the second is better but I prefer all 3 uncharted games over TR 13

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

The Nintendo fanbase is even bigger than playstation though

PS and Nintendo seem a fairly even split. From what I recall, some polls have showed a Nintendo lead, some a Sony lead. Combined the two of them constitute at least 90% of the forum, I reckon.

Cool. I won't be playing RoTR though to give a valid, 'fair' opinion.

Tomb Raider 2013 had it's moments, but it had some flaws in combat and story, like for example you can't fire from the hip/ blind fire, and the melee is very restricted, on the story part Lara is the only character in the game and everyone else just feels like an afterthought.

Then there's the torture porn, which pretty much everyone before me covered already.

Oh, and the color palette is almost nonexistent.

Overall 8/10 experience for me.

I'll have to wait for ROTTR to give a fair judgement, but so far it doesn't look great for CD.
