Why use a laptop for porn when you have a tablet!

I would avoid cheap laptops. Poor performance,battery life. MacBook Air have great battery life or go with the surface pro. I guarantee you would use it much often. Although being alot more expensive. Battery life is really important for productivity devices. Or get a cheap android tablet And Bluetooth keyboard. If budget is important.

Tablets just don't feel right! I guess I'm afraid of change.

He doesnt want to do heavy gameing on it.

That laptop has decent battery life, but I suspect most of the time its probably gonna be plugged into a wall.

If all he wants is to use it for watching movies/tv series, and browseing porn, its plenty powerfull enough for that.

MacBooks are really really bad value.

When a dude is looking for a 200$ buy, you dont recammend him buying something by a company that overcharges you for whatever it is they are selling you.

"battery life" is only important if its a actual need.

(like if you take it to school, and dont wanna deal with plugging it into a wall)

He never once mentioned that as a need.

You cant be serious? for downloading movies/tv series, and watching porn? he probably doesnt wanna do that on a tablet.

You didnt listen to his actual wants at all.... you just went "get apple" cuz reasons.

If you really need something cheap to fill the gap, look at an ASUS EeeBook laptop. They're Atom laptops, but use the more modern Cherry-Trail chips and are quite sturdy and well built.

These specs are bad. That laptop is pretty outdated. There are much better computers around that price range. Depending on what you want to use it for, you should consider seeking one with a better processor, double the RAM and slightly more HDD capacity. This one won't let you multitask effectively (or at all).

Must of miss the pricing/budget he want, just read the title my bad. if he does have a source of power, any AMD laptops or netbook are good ( you recommendation is pretty good). MacBook Air and surface have really good build quality/ battery life/ light and would last longer, but yeh it doesn't fit his budget, wants

They can be wiped off much easier than a keyboard. ;)

Don't get me wrong. I'm great financially . I just don't want to invest too much in something I won't use very much or pay for features I won't use. I don't want to buy crap, either!

well low ghz doesnt automatic means the cpu is weak. Its stronger then some 10 year old intel pentiums with 2-3 Ghz ;)

Also the software is perfeclty optimized for the hardware, it has better performance in video editing as some tradional big 3 ghz laptops.
