It looks pretty good, but is it Star Trek good? Thoughts?

Well it's certainly a lot better than the first trailer, I don't think it's going to be as good as the others, probably slightly worse than Into Darkness.

Hope the TV Show is good next year.

Definitely better than the first trailer, which was a trainwreck.

Still not very excited. The reboot in 2009 was OK, Into Darkness was poor, and I expect Beyond to be the weakest of the three.

Maybe the TV show will put the science back in science fiction.

While I trust Pegg to give a solid story, I'm not that invested in the rebooted movies. Far more curious about the new series next year.

I confess the new director doesn't inspire confidence. But it looks fun to me.
