I've said this about mad max a few times, its the most exciting boring game I've ever played. The repeating challenges and gameplay is boring as hell.

I just finished Farcry primal that I had to play 1.5 times because of a single trophy bug... gah... hating trophy hunting when they make it so bloody difficult.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Married with children references! I love it!

I think this was a very good game, I had a blast with it, the story is pretty cool and folds at a pace I liked. Sure there was some grind as in every open world game, but in this one I find the different things to do pretty fun.

Spent 60 hrs bashing and driving around in the desert.

One of the best movie to game adaptation I've seen in years.

yes i have a question. why on earth would you waste your time with such a shitty game? it was a huge disappointment. never touching a avalanche game again.

It is not a good game, from what I can tell from the reviewers I trust. Mad Max is just one more generic open wurld garm with generic Ubisoft missions. And I'm not interested in games that waste my time after I played and got bored of said Ubisoft games.

But it has vehicle combat, and it's huge part of the game. That's really rare in modern so called "AAA" games, so I can sort of see the appeal.

OT: how long did it take you? Was it really worth it? I like the concept of achievements/trophies but I only get platinums on games that I really really enjoy my time with. I stop playing games that don't entertain me anymore, and I don't even try to get the trophies if they're not compelling in the first place.

No it's not a good game, but there is something about it which still makes it entertaining, such as the setting and it being of a cool movie franchise, and the car stuff is actually quite good once you've upgraded. But at times even Avalanche have beaten Ubisoft for the most annoying and stupid collectables ever (and the number of them, wow). But I still enjoy the game :(

It's OK that you enjoyed the game so don't feel sad, you stupid fish. You can play and have a good time with whatever you want even you yourself think it sucks.

Hehe :)

I'm so busy these days playing games is a luxury and sometimes I do feel guilty that I play some of them for pointless trophys and collectables. It is sad though they decided to follow the ubisoft way though... I'm hoping they all learn from their mistakes because at the moment all open world games seem to be melding into one.

The next ubisoft AAA new IP is bound to have radio towers in it!!!!! gah.

He's not saying its a ubisoft game as far as I can tell, he's saying the same as me, which is they took the gameplay elements from a ubisoft game... i.e lots of collectables and the same gameplay over and over again. It really does feel like its a open world game fro ubisoft.
