I enjoyed Mad Max on the PS4 so much that I went through the 141 non repeating challenges fiasco. Yup, the whole time muttering "Are they f@cking crazy expecting you to do this for one gold trophy?"

I was stuck on the RATTLING YOUR DAGS challenge for three hours until I finally got it to work. It was easier to melee kill 15 enemies without taking damage.

A lot of the vehicle combat stuff in the challenges was really fun so I didn't mind those at all.

After all is played and platinum, I would give Mad Max a 8.5 out of 10.

yes i have a question. why on earth would you waste your time with such a shitty game? it was a huge disappointment. never touching a avalanche game again.

I take it you did not like the game. I had a blast with it. The visuals are impressive and the physics of the car wrecks was awesome. The melee combat is brutal and bloody. The story and characters are well done. The world is massive.

The game is repetitive though so unless your a huge Mad Max fan you probably would not like it.

the visuals were fantastic, the car gameplay was fun at times. hand to hand combat sucked. and the missions and characters were a disappointment. after roughly 4-5 hours i just quit. dont regret my decision at all. 

i loved the latest movie, and was very hyped for the game, as i liked what i saw. but overall, it was just boring. they had a lot of great ideas, but the execution was just horrid. so much potential wasted. 

Certainly not an easy achievement/trophy and time consuming as well, but not that special.

It is good to know this is a good game for some people. I see the user score on metacritic (which is the only score worth looking at - ignore review score) gives it a 7.8..

Yes, but did those metacritic reviewers platinum the game?  

Some people are saying they played the game for only 4 to 5 hours and that the melee combat sucked. It takes longer than that to upgrade Max so he has all his crazy kill moves.Breaking a guys arms to disarm him and then bashing his head in with his own baseball bat with spikes. Sweet.

The game is 8.5 out of 10 in my book. Reviews are subjective.
