/thread.
Goldeneye and Perfect Dark spanked most PC offerings? Nah man.
They're not even the best N64 FPS games. Turok 2 and Rage Wars are much more fun.
And the PC FPS offerings at the time crushed anything on the N64 (or the PS1. The PS1 FPS library was just bad). I'm saying that as a massive fan of the N64 FPS library.
OoT was the most memorable console game of the gen. (PS1 library is so overrated). But Starcraft Brood war is by far the most memorable game of the generation.
I LOVE ICELAND!

I'm not sure just "out of the loop" cuts it here.

That ain't the point though. I'm just saying the jump from FF7 to FF7:R is significantly larger than the jump from OoT to OoT:3D. |
If they would fully remake oot in realistic graphics fans would go insane! The people hear forget fanboys crying over the twilight princess reveal. And yes oot is more loved than ff7 and still holds up better to this day gameplay wise. Also fans have remade parts of OoT in unreal engine that's how much it's loved.

I was just wondering which PC game you would put above Goldeneye in 1997? Like I can't think off any? Only FPS I can think off are like quake and heretic. 007 was the first shooter I played with like objectives and missions etc. I may have of course missed something back in '97
Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League
