Not only is that wrong, you haven't replied to anyone who questioned your post. Looks like more of a bait and run troll post

OT: were you banned before? Or close to a permaban? Because if you got perma'd out of nowhere, GAF mods need a little bit of the banhammer on their heads. Repeatedly.

Never.  I've never had any contact with a mod in any form.

Sony want to make money by selling art, Nintendo want to make money by selling fun, Microsoft want to make money.

Even if what you're saying is true, how does that translate into weekly bans for differing opinions, though?

Because the problem here always were different opinions. Different opinion about somebody liking/disliking nintendo and about somebody who disagree with his topic got closed for no real reasons.

That are just 2 example i can remember right now, i also dont see ALL bans on this forums as well (because im not daily here). But often when im here and i see a ban thats not for a good reasons (like heavy insulting people).

I just found one if mine mentioned examples: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=214380&page=4

So what? Now you want to continue your debate on another forum and prove "I is right"?

And yeah I think it's a fair ban. GG is the cancer that polarized this industry, it also seems to be lead by Islamophobic neckbeards on youtube(Amazing atheist, Sargon). Racism and Islamophobia are as big if not a bigger issue in online gaming. Even if you make valid arguments, don't expect to be treated on an equal footing in anti-GG dens.

Kinda ridiculous how 2 years later people still waste their time on this chapter of internet drama though.

You cornered yourself with that comment. An unpopular opinion can be interpreted or conveniently labelled as trolling. If any VGC moderation falls into those, is not something anyone can prove. There can be a lot of ambiguity when it comes to that type of post and its iniquity will be based on the moderators assumptions... oops, I meant "judgement".

“Simple minds have always confused great honesty with great rudeness.” - Sherlock Holmes, Elementary (2013).

"Did you guys expected some actual rational fact-based reasoning? ...you should already know I'm all about BS and fraudulence." - FunFan, VGchartz (2016)

My only thing is people praising Gaf like it's the Holy Grail of gaming websites. Site looks generic, bland, and outdated imo. Plus the moderation there is absolutely horrible as demonstrated by this thread and personal experience.

That's not part of your initial post saying people get banned for their opinions weekly. They aren't. You can't be modded for having a differing opinion, but you can for how you present that said opinion. In the case of the locked thread above -you aren't allowed to complain about a moderation and make it into a thread. You contact a mod or a head mod (or the mod email I guess) and go from there. He violated a rule and had his thread thusly locked.

if i remember right he contacted the mod and also emailed the vg chartz superamdin (without getting replys).

Also the topic WASNT made AGAINST one specific moderator, it was more an general question but people asked him for examples.

As long as somebody didnt troll or insult people, i think any form of presentations should be ok. But who cares, that are just my thoughts and like i said my perception. I dont really care enough to keep this discussion.

If you broke a written rule, you got banned for reason. If not, it seems ridiculous to get banned for that post. It was maybe a bit vague which may not be desirable in a discussion, but it's definitely not worth a permanent ban unless you've done it a lot of times and got banned for it (which I doubt).

Hey JNK, if you're going to create a new account and post on the forums with it, it's probably a good idea to avoid discussion about how much the mod team was mean and nasty to your old account.

If you wish to post here, go back to your old account. This one is getting banned.
