i hated the laguz, they were annoying to train and there was little point to training them unless you had one that stayed in beast form the whole battle *coughTibarncough*

Unless your friend cheated, i'm not sure how that would be possible. Herons cannot attack, so you could only have it kill on defensive rounds, and you would have to go to insane lengths to create scenarios where a heron wouldn't get raped on a defensive round

yes herons get vigor from start, bliss @level 20, they get an ability to fill up a laguz shift meter @level 30 (forgot the name of it) and a full HP recovery+ biorythm and cancels all negative effects like sleep and silence @ level 40.. hard to nurse one up to 40 in hard mode though..


and for the record fire emblem is indeed an awsome series.

Pirates are kickass, but I'm a bigger fan of Sain. That guy is one classy womanizer.

I also dislike the Laguz except the ones who never transformed back into their human appearance (Nailah, Tibarn, Naesala,...) but they were way too much overpowered. So I did try to use them not that often because it was simply uninteresting having such easy battles (sending Naesala into the mass around the final boss on a map -> everyone died after trying to attack him).

I always used Sain even though he turns out only decent in late game :P. And always him over the red-haired one. Kent, right? That guy was a smuck.
