Hate to say that to you, but on the theather I watched it was the same, laughs at every 5 min or so... I was loling the whole movie.

Whats the right frequency of laughts a movie should have ? 1 every 10 minute would be OK ? Realy hard laughting every 15, a giggle every 30 ? The movie has levity no one is saying it doesn't, the overall tone of the movie is still dark and serious tough, its juts not depressing. I laughted like every 10 minutes on Inglorious Bastard, that movie is still dark as fck.

Have I said there is a frequency allowed? The guy was saying just people with strange humor sense would laugh on CW... just putting that not only did the theather the other guy gone, but mine as well people were laughing all the time... and sorry, this movie is very weak on its try to be dark and serious.

Every single movie specialist disagree with you, but whatever if its a Marvel movie ppl will say its not dark.

Non, it's not consistent. They made him a physical match for Iron Man and Spidey in this movie. Next you'll say 1v1 Cap can beat Superman because of his experience. Spidey is about 10 times stronger than Cap. And much faster too. 1 punch from either Spider-Man or Iron Man would have broken him in half. When Spider-Man was pulling Cap with his webs, Cap proved to be stronger and pulled him back.

That fight scene, I wish they took it more seriously and made it more original.

He stoped Thors hammer on Avengers, he 1v1 Loki and hanged his own, on his first movie he is shown lifting a motrcycle with a bunch of women on top overhead like if it was made of paper. Also Cap didn't thug of war pulled Spidy, he spun and folded the web, that was a smat move that does not require brute strength at all. As I said his movie version is way stronger than his comic book version, its like his 5th apearence on the MCU and every time he appear someone says "how is cap this strong, he is not this strong in the comis", well yes thats it exactly his movie version is way stronger and it is consistent, he has always been this strong on every movie outing so far.

He didn't stop Thor's hammer - the shield did. He didn't 1v1 Loki, his ass was saved by Iron Man. It's 1 thing to be able to lift around 750kg and fighting people who can lift 15T-100T.

No matter what physics laws you're using, Spidey was pulling in one direction, Cap in the other. He spun around and somehow Spidey gets thrown towards him? That makes no sense.

Perhaps so, but this is no different than all of the people who bashed (and continue to bash) BvS before it even came out and afterwards. Plenty of people didn't see BvS and would go on the Internet and trash the entire plot, etc.

At least it appears LL actually saw this movie.

I was hesitant but cautiously optimistic about Batman v Superman before it came out.  The trailers looked bad, I hated that the huge act 3 twist was spoiled, and it felt like 90% of the plot was revealed in the trailers.  IT still sounded like it could have been good, with the lone thing I was excited for being Batman (Ben Affleck is an amazing actor and director now, better reco'nize!).

Many of my fears about the film, pre-release, were alleviated by reminders of prior surprises in superhero movies.

Lex Luthor's casting of Jesse Eisenberg sounded bad, but so did Heath Ledger as Joker, and look how that turned out.
People hated Batfleck, but from day one I was on board because of his recent works both in front of and behind the camera
Zack Snyder - for all his hatred - has produced some gems if he has the right writers.  Pretty bad Man of Steel, but great Watchmen.
The Trailers giving everything away screamed desperation but I've been surprised by emotional depth in other effects heavy films

Before Batman v Superman's release, I was actually excited to see it.  IT wasn't until after I saw it in opening weekend that I realized how atrociously bad it was.  Just not a good film.

On the flip side, leading into Civil War I was kind of hesitant.  It didn't seem like it was going to be that good and I didn't actually like the 'civil war' storyline in the comics, the advertising didn't scream 'must see', and after Batman v Superman's catastrophic blech response, I was really anxious.  Add to that the back-stage politics of getting Spider-Man in the movie, and I was worried about this being another example of too much world building without enough substance.

I got the opposite.  It blew me away, people liked it, I loved it, people are ga-ga over Civil War.  IT was a better film.  I didn't decree it as such until I saw both but every metric points towards this being the case.  Pre-release hype and anti-hype be damned.

Actually this is one of my biggest gripe with CW the trailers gave away everything and I mean everything.

From why they wanted the accords.

Which superhero chose which side they were on.

Basically every action setpiece

The Spiderman reveal

And the twist ending of cap fighting IM, which the movie clearly sets it up as them going to fight the other winter soliders but its ruined by every trailer showing them fighting each other, which if they had kept it secret would have been far more impactful.

The movie ended up being just extended clips of the trailers,  and everyone I saw it with thought the samething, and I personally didn't watch any tv spots for it or any other clips besides the basic trailers (I stopped watching trailers after the spiderman reveal I had no idea he was supposed to be in the movie).

Trailers should really stop spoiling movies, I still enjoyed it though.

I thought it was easy to follow why spiderman and antman was in the movie, IM needed a way to capture and restrain cap side without hurting them hence he got peter parker who developed a really strong artifical spider web which could do the trick, and cap needed to break in and steal the quintjet hence antman who they knew broke into the avengers facility.

If Empire Strikes Back was released today instead of 1980, I would fully expect the "I am your father" scene to be in every trailer.

Up until the end, I was expecting Cap to die. Leaving his shield was pretty powerful, though. The message to Tony kind of killed that, though.

I like how, before the movie, I never felt Cap and Tony were friends. They had a pretty good conversation that sold their friendship to me, though. I guess, there was the movie I wanted, the movie I expected, and the movie we got. The movie we got was satisfying enough for my geek tastes.

The letter to my recollection was a true indicator of the Captain's character. Hes the good guy who does right, but how good can be you truly be when you are saving a friend who is not really in control of the "other wise"of himself. Tony and Captain America are truly an ideological dichotomy that has been a script writing achievement for comic book movies. These guys have no reason to get along but they do for the greater good of the earth. In that time they learn to respect one another, despite their egoes. The three Captain America movies have fleshed out how long Bucky and Cap have been friends and why Cap is so loyal despite his short time knowing the Avengers. In the overall story the bigger achievement was learning to overcome your frustrations with others for what they did otherwise it will eat you up inside and destroy the bigger picture. I cannot wait to see how Doctor Strange, Ragnarock and Guardians 2 fill in the gaps, because after avengers 2 we might need breather from typical activities on earth. I truly cannot wait for Homecoming now. Im glad they put the ultimate spiderman into the MCU. Hopefully he makes up for the crappy cartoon. LOL

You do know cap was under the shield right, he still needs to be strong enought to not get smashed by the blow and cap doesnt even budge when he stops that blow. He does 1v1 Loki no matter how you want to look at it, he also 1v1 Ultron (wich is stronger physically than Loki). he holds the motorcycle overhead like if it was made of pappe (I think he does it with 1 hand too, I don't quite remember now)r so thats obviously not even close ot his full strength, and the spin thing has to do with changing the direction youre applying strength, wich throws your oposition off balance if they arent expecting it, also we don't know how strong Spidy will be in his movie incarnation we haven't had a proper gauge yet. Is he overpowered in the movies compared to the comics ? Yes he definetly is. Is Civil War inconsistent with the rest of the cinematic universe ? It deffinetly isn't. Infinity War will come around Cap will be involved in some suposedly impossible scene and someone will be here complaining he is overpowered for the 100th time.

You're wrong about a few things. Cap's shield is a vibranium/adamantium blend that absorbs any impact. It could take a punch from the Hulk and he would barely feel it. That's why he keeps jumping off of shit and putting his shield below him to cushion the blow. It's not consistent, though. Bad writing. It will bounce off of one thing and then cut through something else. And sometimes an explosion will knock him back because.... things .

And Look is Thor level in strength. He's just more cunning and less physical. He's stronger than Ultron.

Also, didn't Cap have a device that always made his shield come back? What happened to that!?!

D21lewis already pointed out how you're wrong about Cap's strength and how it's the shield that allows him to take a blow from Thor's hammer.

Can you explain to me what direction the force that Cap was applying was changed to? Cap can spin all he wants, the force he's applying would still be in the same direction.

<------ Spidey pulling this direction            ---------> Cap pulling this way.

Whichever direction Cap is pulling, there's is no way he can pull Spidey in his direction without using a bigger force. I mean it's simple logic. If you can show me using arrows which direction the force that Cap applied that allowed me to pull Spidey over, that'll be great.
