Forums - Sony Discussion - Nioh reached over 850k downloads and to have a revamped stamina system plus more changes.

The lock on and more button slots for abilities, magic, items were some of the things that needs improvement. Stamina could be abused once you got how it worked. I'm fine with equipment durability because you only need to know where vendors are that can repair the stuff or have items you can use for it.

Durability needed to be redone in a very bad way. Maybe not removed completely, but things got broke way too easily.

- Expand item shortcut slots.
Good. That was on many people's wishlist, it seems.

- Adjust the drop rate for equipment.
I hope that means less drops, but higher quality.

- Change the conditions under which the player character becomes unresponsive when the Ki Gauge is empty.
Hmmm.

Implement a flow to allow players to exit a mission.
Yes, please. I was surprised that I couldn't exit back to the world map again after revisiting the first area upon completing it.

Reading those comments at gematsu, it seems a lot are more concerned of the changes than happy about them, and asians seems to be the most that's having a hard time with the game lol.

Steam: Lee Roid

The change seems to be so stupid just because some people sucked at this game. If they remove the stamina then this will be no souls game anymore.
The only real complained to be made with the combat system is that its very problamatic going on more than 1 enemy, its even harder than in Dark Souls.

Game was hard as fuck tbh

Maybe it won't suck so much now. Wonder if they'll do a Marketing Demo 2.0

There should be no stamina or durability whatsoever

This game was very hard lol

I hope if Capcom makes a new Onimusha that it wont be like this xD

No stamina is a dumb idea.

no durability, sure thats good. Its unneeded busy work.

Ryu Hayabusa had infinite stamina, why can't Geralt-clone?

I hope they don't dumb it down too much. It's fairly easy to figure out not to repeat the same mistakes over, to repair gear and not to mash buttons til your out of stamina. I hope that a good bit of it's difficulty remains.

fucking normies are going to ruin this game just like DS3
