I am curious on how you guys think the season is going so far.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Well they are past the books now, so I doubt theres going to be any major deaths anytime soon...

It's different, but I am enjoying it.

Im liking it but Im not loving it. The storytelling doesn't feel as good. Every chapter some character not fully developed or not quite important dies. So it doesn't really have an impact anymore. It's just shock for shock's sake. And a huge bunch of really great characters from the books are terribly written in the series. I get that in that format you can't give everyone justice but geez, I wished they had given more focus to Doran, Stannis or Areo Hotah than they do Ramsay or the Great Sparrow.

So yeah, liking it, not loving it.

Im really liking it!!! I hated last season. I felt like it was losing its magic. But it kinda feels like its coming back this year.

Its really meh. Very hollywood type. I dont like this season so far.

many scenes/developments feel pretty shallow and disappointing, like how things in winterfell play out, and pretty much every scene in King's Landing so far is a bore - well, the portrayal of the high sparrow/septon is decent, but everyone else is meh imo

episode 4 (aside from winterfell scene) was really strong though

I'm enjoying it enough to stay awake till 3am to watch it.

I also agree with whoever said that it was losing the magic/dragging last season. This season definitly got things moving.

It feels like they are starting to wrap things up. I've never had that feeling in any of the seasons in GoT. It feels like there is now a certainty with Jon Snow and the siblings bring reunited has started.

In all honesty, I don't think the books will ever see the end. He will finish the current book and then start the next, but that will be it.

I'm very much enjoying it, but you can tell that now they're "winging it" - without the books to guide the story, it does feel a little lost. I know George RR Martin is heavily involved in the show, but it does feel a little at times almost like it's no longer the same story. Hard to explain but that's my opinion thus far. Still really enjoying it and excellently made though.
