Yup thats a really strong opening week.

7 million first week. Suddenly my prediction of overwatch having a chance isn't so crazy as others believed

So with the recent anouncement of Overwatch hitting 15 million before the summer's end, do people still think that Infinite Warfare will outsell Overwatch this year?

Jason's diabolical prediction is coming to fruition.

It's doing great but c'mon, players and sales aren't the same at all. It didn't sell 7m in week 1 and it's certainly not close to 15m now.
You should read the statements more closely.

Some people really don't get the difference between players and sales.

OverWach sold an estimate of 8 million according to Wedbush. Which is good, very good, but is not even close with 15 million.

Whether or not the Wedbush number is right, the sales are far lower.

Especially if you consider this: http://www.dailydot.com/esports/overwatch-league-of-legends-korean-pc-bang/

Tons of players, zero sales. Still a nice source of revenue, no doubt.

Exactly. Overwatch is big, and yet another clear success story for AB, but I still think that unit wise CoD will outsell it this year. Yes, the performance of BF1 and TF2 will be interesting to watch as well, but the CoD crowd in the west is absolutly massive.

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Regardless of which one sells more OW is making more money thanks to its loot boxes. Still think it will be close though, I mean CoD has less than 2 months of sales.
