Dude, come on. Saying "make it good" is just needlessly provocative. And nebulous suggestions like "good single player" and "more content" don't help either.

At least explain and unpack your ideas so people can engage with them.

Why is it provokative to say you didnt find à game and it's single player good or that thé game hadnt à lot of content ? It's an opinion. Maybe thé hype made me expect more from this game.

Engaging single player would be awesome...
I like the idea of weapons or stages inspired by Nintendo's past/other series...
They can keep 4 vs. 4 as an option, but I think they should also add at least 8 vs. 8...
Add more maps to the stage rotation...
I think a mode where you're actually trying to create art would be interesting...
Or perhaps a mode where, rather than compete against others, players work together to take on Octolings...

  • A deeper/longer single player mode
  • Wiimote + nunchuck or Keyboard + mouse option (I know both are pipe dreams :P)


A deeper and longer single player mode would be very welcomed. Getting rid of the mode rotation is also a must. Seriously, fuck that garbage.

Both great ideas! the 4vs4vs4vs4 mode is the one I like best of everything mentioned so far though!

A co-op campaign could work really well - especially if it relies on player spreading down ink for the other to progress.

I want a better story mode.
Octolings as chooseable charaters.
Unlockable stuff on the hubworld.

A real day night cycle on everything.

Improved customization, deeper single player, and new modes for multiplayer and even single player for me.

I personally don't care much for voice chat since I don't speak other languages, don't have many friends who may be interested in this particular game, and it creates an advantage over those who may or may not elect to have party chat. Plus, I think I got what they were saying in communicating through the game. Through the gamepad, I could see what's been inked or not and who is where. It also made it easier for me to squid jump without having to stop and locate where my teammates are since I already know where they are though the gamepad. Hopefully we'll have something akin to the gamepad because I felt I was playing and overseeing the map through real time.

Some of the stuff pointed out here are good as well, though I have a few concerns with others. For example, map creation sounds nice, until you realize how tough it could be to balance the map where both sides can have a even playing field. If even one part of the map is different, it could change the way the map intended to work. I don't know if I could leave that kind of power to gamers.



Performance when things get hectic(which is quite often) must be improved. The slowdowns are quite significant and screws up my aim. Honestly a little surprised about this, since N's own games normally runs perfectly no matter what. So this is a clear weak point imo.

Party chat would be good.

Reduce the lag please. So many weird situations because of this. For example the trade kills, they happen only because of this insane lag. You die what feels like instantly, like if all your enemys bullets are packed into one. Dying behind corners or cover. It doesn't help either when we have to play with japanese players, so at least it should have a regional setting.

More maps from the beginning.

Other than those points above it's the normal "more of everything"..
