while i do watch Nascar/Indycar on ovals from time to time on tv.. as a game.. its so boring.. just slipstreaming past a car isn't fun for me..

Let's keep that on sales thread where mud slinging go unchecked, before we derail this one.

I skipped the NASCAR segments in GT, never saw the appeal of this sport at all. I also find Formula 1 to be a lot less interesting than rally, for instance.

But if my thread was closed because it was a duplicate of this thread, then surely the mod that closed locked it meant that the conversation should continue here. Otherwise my thread wouldn't be a duplicate and should have been kept open. There's NO other way of looking at this.

I just asked a question because I thought the info was legitimate and not manipulated. You even added a question mark to my thread title :)

Perhaps it would be best to re-open my thread and change the headline? I don't tend to go into XB1 game threads but I feel as if I had no choice here.

Fair enough. I only posted it because I was surprised by the info in the vid. Of course I didn't realise it was simply PR. With that in mind, I really don't want to continue the conversation here myself. It's hard enough trying to tow an objective line when you focus entirely on one platform, and adding to the idea of me being selective in my thinking would damage the small amount of reputation I've managed to garner on this site. I know this will surprise some but it won't surprise others and it's the others I'm concerned with. This is why I tend to stay out of games threads for the XB1 on ALL forums.

I don't know why a few care about certain things on the video and I dont know why they care so much about it to just make a thread about it.
