Capcom's latest remaster, Resident Evil 0 HD, has sold approximately 800,000 copies, the publisher has announced as part of its latest earnings report [PDF]. The game launched in January this year, and Capcom's reporting period ended March 31, so this only counts copies sold through then.

Additionally, Capcom mentioned the 800,000 figure when it was specifically talking about digital games. As such, this number may not include copies of the game sold via the Resident Evil Origins Collection, a physical bundle that included not only Resident Evil 0 HD, but also the Resident Evil 1 remaster.

Excellent sales!I hope this shows the stupid people at Capcom making decisionss that there is a great demand for a true survival horror

Those are some sweet sales. Which reminds me I have to go and pick a copy, never played RE0 before. One of the few Resident Evil games I haven't played, along with Code Veronica and Outbreak.

Tbh the onlything i like about Capcom is monster hunter. They hace milked the RE series so much than im shocked it sold 800k. Nintendo, Sony, or MS please buy Capcom already.

Right, I'm fine with Capcom being its own company, learning from its mistakes, and putting their focus on fan service on various platforms.

Also, Capcom makes money selling exclusives. Dead Rising 3, Monster Hunter, and SFV.

I'm surprised you only like Monster Hunter from them. Have you tried anything aside from that and Resident Evil? Like, I dunno, Okami? Phoenix Wright? Street Fighter? Dragon's Dogma? Dead Rising? Asura's Wrath? Remember Me? Lost Planet? Ghost Trick? Onimusha?

It's really good. It fills in a lot of story gaps and the "partner zap" system is a lot of fun.

@OP: glad so many people got to enjoy the game!

I've played Okami, Phoenix Wright, SF, Dead rising before.  Capcom is honestly a shit company in my opinion. It's good that they sold800k from resident evil 0 but that series has been milked to death. SFV had a lackluster launch, and DR3 wasn't as good and the other two. Phoenix Wright and Okami are good series but honestly there nothing huge.
