It's not strange. It's normal to see people that can't handle a simple truth like the one posted in the OP, so they have to derail believing reality wil banish suddenly.

You think I as a ps4 fan can't handle Pokken selling more at retail in the USA than SFV?  Lol come on we know you don't really believe that

I don't believe it. I just saw your posts.

Add SFIV sales from PS3 and suddenly Pokken gets rekt.

Yes. Especially worldwide is where it counts. I mean, in the end it's nothing less than Playstation against BigN, the big fight. We have to see that as a whole and more abstract.

We should also take into account that digital is way higher on PS4 than on WiiU or any other Nintendo System, it's over 9000 easily.

Sad that people didn't pick up the off-topic stuff about other exclusives from the other competitor, MS. This really did something to the discussion. But SFV wouldn't have sold more when also released on Xbox because the franchise is associated with Playstation, ever since.

OT: I am surprised that a game for that console outsold the destined generation leader and winner. On a console that is set to die soon with close to no positive hype around it at all.

Well splatoon has outsold halo 5. So this really isn't that surprising after seeing that.

Yes Wii U has a few beastly hits.  Even if splatoon released on pc/ps4/X1 and it had the same sales total you'd call it a beast.

Misleading title then. But again it doesn't matter much at all.

But add digital pc sales from the US and it matters.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Street Fighter V crash and burn spectacularly on Steam?  I mean, it's a bit extra sure but I highly doubt it will change much given how the source for this said that the retail disparity was enough to where the *PS4* digital sales (the platform focused on almost exclusively with all the game's marketing) would make no difference whatsoever.

I think it's safe to say, for now, Pokken is ahead in the US, Japan, and Spain all told.  I would put smart money on being ahead WW for the time being.  Whether it will stay ahead or run low on shipments is anyone's guess as you said.  But I will point out that this 1.4 mil is likely mostly the first shipment.  I say that cause Capcom had a confident expectation of 2+ million sales and as many love to point out on this site, the lion's share of sales for most titles usually come in the first couple months.  So if they stocked on those expectations and then the community backlash hit harder than expected (as it did), then a very large ammount of that shipment could be sitting around and the shipment numbers could be a lot more unhelpful than usual.

Sorry didn't read all that.  playing RB6 and can only reply in between games. Basically I think it's sold over 200k on Steam. I'd imagine a large chuck of that was steam USA sales?  So maybe that makes a difference

Man, that is embarrassing.

How could Capcom let Street Fighter fall so low.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Steam Spy seems to put it at around 160k (159,537 ± 9,795 specifically).  So no, it's a good bit bellow 200k on Steam.  Globally.  That's not going to move the needle very much I'm afraid.

This'll teach Capcom not to sell empty disks for 50 bucks.
