Wow, time flies huh? I remember playing the hell out of this game back in the day. The Wii one is pretty good by yourself as well with others. But the 3DS sequel was just very meh in my opinion. Doesn't offer much except for the coin collecting mechanic that gets old fast.
Easily the best one is the Wii U game. Very reminsce of SMW.

The series should have stopped after Wii tbh, but happy 10th. It really gave you a reason to get the DS.

Amazing game, remember playing it for the first time ten years ago, I was so amazed at the DS back then, having a 2D Mario game with 3D models and everything running so fluid! Loved it, it was perfect, and came just in time, there were not enough Mario Adventure games, the 3D ones took so long to produce, that You had nothing to play in between. It's a shame they exploted the series so much after it... The only other ones I enjoyed the most after this ones, were NSMB 2 and NS Luigi U. NSMB U and Wii were good but, for me, was a bit more of the same.

Wish they made a New Super Wario Land, or a game starring Waluigi!
