The next COD will probably sell more than GTAV on both consoles, again. That said, on both systems the amount of units sold from a last gen game on both systems is truly amazing but as it currently stands, COD is just the top selling game, in almost every iteration.

But yeah, my point was that exclusives won't be on top of the charts and whether it's 5x times COD or 2x GTA doesn't really matter in that case.

GTA V was a year late port. It was released on PS360 in 2013, made a billion in three days and released on PS4One in 2014 still selling over 15 million units on the new consoles so it is bigger.

It would sell over 1 million in a month but I don't expect it to sell as well as previous Gears games unless it is mass bundled like Ultimate Edition.

I think it will easily beat Halo 5, and top CoD:AW, but BLOPS3 may be a tall order.

While yes, VGC numbers aren't correct, Black Ops III is confirmed the bigger game on current gen console confirmed by ActiVision.

 

Of course that's not that impressive when GTA V on PS4/XBO is a port and yeah, when GTA VI coming out will probabily outsell Black Ops III and many others COD by almost 2:1
