Batman (Nolan's) was the best super hero movies to date, easily. Then you have a group of a lot of really good one that are arguably all in a similar level of awesomeness.

I don't get why people hate so much on The First Avenger. I thought it was pretty good.
Well... i think Batman is the best trilogy in this case... even though Captain america films are my favorite. But they are my favorite because they are really avengers movies undercover. Only the first movie was really about captain america,
Qwark said: Batman triology was better in my opinion. And for the record I in generally prefer Marvel. Civil war beats Rises in my opinion and the first avenger equals batman begins. But The Dark Night is simply way better than the winter soldier. But there is nothing wrong with being the second best considering the list. |
This probably how I would choose my list to, between the cap and batman films (although I am a big batman fan ever since) the only difference I would put CW way above rises, even with my heavy batman bias I just don't think its a very good movie.

After the first two movies, I would have said the Dark Night Trilogy but TDKR was disappointing. I think all three Captain America movies are at bare minimum good. TDKR had a lot of issues.

Captain America 7/10
Winter Soldier 9/10
Civil War 6/10
Civil War was a huge let down IMO.
The Dark Knight trilogy is the best by many standards, in my opinion.
Captain America can make an argument with the Winter Soldier (I haven't seen CW yet).
Can't really think of any others that I think are on the same level as TDK trilogy.
