This was so close... congrats MS for almost snatching the win. How were Amazon comparing?

Have there been any SW numbers leaked?

People will read this and think you are talking about consoles instead if software.

Yep I assumed he was talking hardware.

I only got it after he replied mentioning MK vs DS.

Still surpriseing news though, didnt think software would be down that much.

Well, Mortal Kombat X did pretty well on USA, and we know   that Dark Souls 3 Shipped 1.5 Millions to North America as of May 10.

Wii U down about 25%, PS4 flat, Xone down. This isn't exactly setting the world on fire.

What was the month Splatoon Launched for USA last year ?.

The doom and gloom on the XBO for a 10% down YoY, on a really slow month...

It's more to do with the fact that they went hard with the deals this month and were still down.

On a positive note ps4+x1 are up on the corresponding month for the ps3+360

I've been reading Microsoft is doomed, and how they will leave the videogames market since 360 (because PS3 sold more YoY some years), a 10% down is not a reason for some reactions here, they did a lot of ads, and discounts, and bundles, like they have been doing since they are clearly defeated by PS4. Not a very good month for XBO, not a very bad month either.

Is a little exhausting reading the same for years and over two different generations. But hey, they can keep saying the same every year, some day they will be right for sure!

They are Down YOY with a exclusive  that was awaited for over 3 Years, Microsoft's Biggest New IP, and a 50US$ Price Cut, they should have been atleast Flat on USA, if the things are becoming bad on USA, the things are worse out-side of it.

The PS4 was also up the same % amount YoY in March, so that might mean something. May should perform better to May 2015 because of Uncharted, but it is weird that the price cut is already losing its effect.

I don't think it is. How long has it been at $350?  About 8 months? and that's the problem with small price cuts. $50 cut isn't really that much.

I'm obviously talking about the difference between rankings and real numbers, but hey............

But hey... you are wrong.

Since the beggining of the gen Amazon have been used to preview position not relative differences... so you are complaining about a thing no one was considering or though worked.

Even a 150 price cut on the lower selling console would have diwindled 8 months after occurence.

I know right? but that only applies if you forget that one of its moatvtalkes about IPs Quantum break came out that month and it also had a $50 price cut in the same month.

Doesn't sound so unwarranted anymore does it?
