Forums - Sony Discussion - I feel like Uncharted 4 is the perfect game for people that alreadly think Uncharted is perfect.

I'm only 8 chapters in and its good, its really good. But the most part, its a more narrative driven of what we've seen in the past.

Based on what I've read, I'm about 1/3 into the game and I look forward to playing more. But I think I came into this wanting this to take gameplay to a new level and it doesn't quite do that so far. Graphics and story telling though, top notch stuff.

Maybe I've played too much AC, because I feel like I'm in linear version of that with average gunplay... and things have to be constantly moved so I can climb them.

I haven't bought the game yet but I just watched Dashie play the first segment on YouTube and I can't wait. It'll be my first Uncharted game ever and it's made a huge impression on me. The narrative is awesome from what I've seen. Looks thrilling, and something everyone interested in gaming should experience. From my perspective, I'd have to disagree with you partly.

You didn't enjoy Golden Abyss?

Its like the other games with annoying puzzles.

So in terms of new gameplay mechanics, how is the chest high foliage for stealth implemented? Does it fit in well, like with Shadow of Mordor, or does it feel gimmicky?

Is chest high foliage to 8th gen what the chest high wall was to the 7th gen?

That's the thing, its a good game for story telling, visuals, and stuff like that. But gameplay of this series has never really grabbed partly due to pacing and not so great gunplay. I never found the exploration in this series to be very satisfying either.

Bottom line, I do find myself playing every game in the series because its an overall great product.

I'm only on chapter 5/6 and it's exceptional so far. Definitely enjoying it even more because I've played the first 3. I only read your title and the first sentence btw to avoid potential spoilers as you're 2/3 chapters ahead
