Give it time, COD4 remastered will see a standalone release.

Releasing it only as a bundle with Infinite Warfare at launch is a trick as transparent as it is tasteless. There is no good reason not to give us the option of buying it separately on Day 1, except that the money-grubbing suits at Activision want to push more copies of their latest entry by attaching it at the hip to a more desirable product. Once they have the holiday season in the bag, they'll fart out a separate release, and anyone who bought IW just to get COD4 will be shafted.

Let's not reward this kind of anti-consumer behaviour.

If you're not too keen on Infinite Warfare, but really want COD4 Remastered, consider waiting just a few months for the all but inevitable non-bundled version. Don't fall for Activision's ploy.

Is COD4 on the same disc as IW ? because if it isn't then I'm confident that you'll be able to buy the games separated digitally

No, but Activision has made it pretty clear that they wont sell Modern Warfare Remastered seperately at launch.

Totally agree. Modern Warfare is the sugar coating for the sour pill that is Infinite Warfare. It's a cynical and manipulative business decision.

If the remaster arrives separately I'll consider buying it. If not, I can always boot up the original.

If enough players hold back on buying COD IW,Activision will not have any other solution,than to sell COD 4 seperately. Money talks.

Of course it will. No one should fall for this obvious ploy that's only to get more money at launch. When they see they could make more money by releasing it standalone, they'll do so.

It's obvious Activision will release MW1 remaster. They'd be stupid to only remaster their most iconic game just for a handful of people getting the collectors edition, where other remaster games are selling tons.

My guess is that they'll make you beg for this game and when they finally release it,they'll make you pay full price because they'll release it in some MW trilogy remaster package.
