As a nintendo fan, the generation has been one of the best, if not the best. not only have i gotten strong titles from nintendo on wii-u and 3ds, but a solid virtual console and backwards comp with wii and ds and more has been nice. my wii-u has every snes and nes game i previously had.

i dont think weve ever sunk so low that the E3 presentation is only going to have 1 game. last year was bad but at least there were games. im not even excited for E3 now

Currently, this current situation seems like the end of the GC era, where it was their all time lowest selling console (minus the VB) and the future looked grim. It's looking grim again with Ninten trying to recover when Sony is at their strongest. They managed to turn things around with the Wii, but I wonder if they can possibly do it again here.

Actually, just right before the 64 (1995-1996), the Super NES was getting games like Yoshi's Island, Chrono Trigger, Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3, Earthbound, Breath of Fire II, Super Mario RPG, Kirby Super Star, Lufia II, etc. It wasn't really bad at least in terms of games. The Wii U wishes it was getting games like those...
