Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo Hosting A Presentation @ E3 2016 for Business Partners

"Aside from highlighting the upcoming Zelda game, Nintendo isn’t doing a whole lot at E3 this year. That being said, the company will be hosting a presentation for “business partners that will showcase key launches and programs through Holiday 2016.” Nintendo has conducted similar events in the past. The presentation will be held on June 14 between 9 AM and 10 AM PT (12 PM ET and 1 PM ET)."

What do guys think about this? Perhaps the Wii U's final "3rd party" line-up for this holiday year or something more along the lines of the NX? Hopefully it isn't another "unprecedented" business partner they had not too long ago.

I knew that it would just be a question of time until people will start to bring this in connection with NX...

It's not about NX. It's about Wii U and 3DS.

EA will announce a port of FIFA 15 to launch with the NX

I don't get it. Is it like a mini conference?

Don't these happen each year.

You aren't wrong, but with Paper Mario: Color Splash being the only Wii U game presumably slated for the later half of the year plus the NX being only months away from this holiday season,  it does stimulate the thought of something bigger happening and not just some silly announcement like the next Just Dance and games like that.

heh, NX will probably be there. They gotta show it off to 3rd parties sooner or later if they want their support afterall.

That whole 'we won't show NX at E3' probably just meant 'we won't show NX at E3 to you' so yeah, sucks for us regular dudes I guess.

Yay! More rumors from people's dads and friends!!!!'

And will charge 60$ while it will cost 19$ over the other consoles and we will get the speach that nintendo owners do not buy their games

You are assuming this is for Wii U, just a week ago Kimishima said that by phasing out support for Wii U they can focus their attention on 3DS this year.

Metroid Prime: Federation Force, Monster Hunter Generations, Dragon Quest VII, Dragon Quest VIII, Rhythm Heaven: Megamix, Pokemon Sun/Moon are all set to release in the second half of the year and based on the previous leak of upcoming 3DS titles, Nintendo still has 2 unnanounced titles and a price cut on the way.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

This is nothing more than a briefing for retailers and business partners of Nintendo.

They discuss Nintendo's performance at retail and the upcoming games that will be coming to retail.

The event is not for the public, nor should it be as consumer announcements do not take place here. They literally just discuss what's coming in the year and how they expect it to be pitched/sold to consumers.
