Interesting that they're branching out but these speeds don't look like they're anything special. I thought they would have covered the upper end of the market as well with the Radeon name but it looks like they're going solely for the value market.

Good value if you need a cheap SSD though.

I was about to say "too good to be true" but with the speeds it looks like you're right in that they are just going for the value market rather than high end, I was actually hoping they would bring some form of both to the table.

That is why they use the R3 moniker. In Radeon cards and stuff the "R3" name is used for the low end market. I think they had a R7 series RAM too.

The controller of those SSDs is from Samsung, so they should be quite reliable, and I would say that the average consumer won't notice much difference, if at all, between those SSDs and the fastest ones.
