Have you actually played it? You're posting some very stretched out shots. I've played all the versions, and I got to say the 3DS one is the best. Especially with the greater control of freedom and ability to do more things like extract information and hold enemies as hostages.

1. Yeah, I have played through the 3DS-Demo several times, I played through the Vta version and I've played the PS2 version several times. Haven't played the PS3 or 3DS version, still hoping for a PC version of the MGS Collection.
2. The screenshots and screengrabs from the PS2/3DS-comparison video are from Digital Foundry, normally they know their stuff.
But here are some from Gamespot... don't really look better:
I'm sure you'll dismiss them either, ignorance is bliss. But you are free to post some of your own 3DS screenshots, if they represent the version so much better.
3. The 3DS version had some improvements, but most reviewers wrote that these advantages can't outweigh the disadvantages.
EuroGamer / Digital foundry: "Ultimately, this is a lacklustre port of a fantastic game. The sad thing is that the improvements to manoeuvrability and updated visuals show us what the ultimate Metal Gear Solid 3 would look like - but then Snake Eater 3D fails to deliver that due to stodgy aiming, low resolutions and a choppy frame-rate. Even in this diminished form, Snake Eater is still massively enjoyable, but unless you're really keen on playing it on the go, it's hard to recommend this over its console counterparts."
Game Informer: "This version is only worthwhile for people who have no other choice. Even then, with the $40 you'd spend on Snake Eater 3D, you could probably buy an old PS2 and the original game, or the HD Collection on 360 and PS3. If you want the real Snake Eater experience, those are far better options."
GameTrailers: "Aside from the original PS2 release, this is easily the worst iteration of Snake Eater. The lack of extras, the frustrating controls, and the overall performance issues hold it back from being one of the premier third-party games for the 3DS. Don't be hypnotized by this snake's gaze--this is far from the optimal way to experience this classic."
Destructoid: "It all results in a game with 9.5/10 ideas delivered in a 6/10 package. If you already own the original, or if you aren't keen on playing Snake Eater on a portable, then there is no reason to pick it up again. If you do want the game on the go, you may be better off waiting for the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on the PS Vita. If you're never going to buy a Vita and you have no other way to get your hands on Metal Gear Solid 3, you should definitely grab Snake Eater 3D. Those who were hoping for a new or improved version of the game will be disappointed."
